About Me

Writing about self is by far the easiest and the most difficult task at the same time. We know a lot about ourselves and sometimes a lot too much. And we have our own view about ourselves. But we know so little! Not everyone wears the same looking glass. So we cannot be certain of the right things to share. None-the-less an "About Me" must be written.

I am a woman, a doting mother, a loving wife, a poet at heart. Restless at times, uncertain at times, I am at heart a fighter of my causes, though there are no fights I am in. Or should I say,.. I am alive and breathing! I am positive, enduring and endearing. All of it is a bit about me. That is how I think of me.

But yes, I have more contemporary introduction too... I am a chartered Accountant by profession. Over a year back I took a break from work, to spend more time with my daughter. And while I totally loved my work, I have enjoyed this break just as much. I love to write and on occasions I penned down lines at the back of my scratch pad, at my desk, when I was taking a short break from work.

I yearn for appreciation and criticism equally. There is a story about an egg and some coffee beans that were boiled in water, we all know. The egg got hardened and inflexible and the coffee bean released a pleasant aroma that pleased all. I like that story for many reasons. One of them is that, this story is like a little guide through the tough times, it keeps reminding me how I must emerge from those rough phases of life.
